PPOC Atlantic Exhibit at the Centre Multifonctionnel de Shediac / Shediac Multipurpose Center

May 4th, 2019 was the opening of our PPOC Atlantic Exhibit at the Centre Multifonctionnel de Shediac / Shediac Multipurpose Center at 58 Rue Festival in Shediac, NB. You missed out on free wine and nibbles, but it's not too late to catch the exhibit, which will hang until the end of June 2019. If you're anywhere near the area, it is well worth the time. If you're not, we're interested in hearing your ideas on where in Atlantic Canada the exhibit could travel to next!

This special exhibit features 12 of our accredited Atlantic Region members, who submitted images to be judged by an out of province jury for selection to be included the show. The featured artists are Victoria West, Krista Powers, Brent McCombs, Louise Vessey, Berni Wood, Martial Comeau, Maurice Melanson, Paula Lirette, Tracy Munson, Sue Fleming, Jamie Bard-Dube, and Cindy Duclos.

Many thanks are due to Krista Powers, who came up with the idea and nurtured it into reality, to Creative Laminating for the printing, mounting, and framing, to PPOC Atlantic for sponsoring part of the printing costs and promoting the exhibit, and to the Centre Multifonctionnel de Shediac / Shediac Multipurpose Center for allowing us to use the fantastic space. It's really quite overwhelming to see just how much amazing talent we have in our region, all together in one place.
